Brighton & Hove Albion Executive Director Martin Perry says the Seagulls enjoyed the most amazing day in their history when they were promoted to the Premier League on Monday – 20 years after "having nothing" as a club.

"It's an amazing feeling; it was very emotional," says Perry, who also reserves high praise for manager Chris Hughton in the video below.
"Twenty years ago we had nothing – the previous owners had sold the Goldstone Ground and we had nowhere. We didn't know where we were going to play.
"From that, slowly and steadily, we've built back up to what was the most amazing day [on Monday]."
