Hublot Young Player of the Season shortlist
Liam Delap (Ipswich Town)
P35 W4 D10 L21 G12 A2
Ipswich Town striker Delap is the first player to earn a nomination for the Hublot Young Player of the Season award despite playing for a relegated team. The 22-year-old, who won the PL2 Player of the Season award with Manchester City in 2020/21, has scored 12 of Ipswich's 35 Premier League goals, with only Nottingham Forest's Chris Wood accounting for a higher proportion of his team's goals than Delap's 34.3 per cent.
Anthony Elanga (Nottingham Forest)
P36 W18 D8 L10 G6 A10
One of the Premier League's most threatening and effective wide men, Swedish winger Elanga has been a pivotal figure in Forest's challenge for UEFA Champions League qualification. His 10 assists are the joint-third most among all players this season, with the 23-year-old former Manchester United winger becoming only the fourth Forest player to reach double figures for assists in a Premier League season. He needs only one more in Forest's final two matches to equal the club record set by Bryan Roy in 1994/95.
Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)
P35 W25 D8 L2 G0 A4
The only player on the shortlist for the Hublot Young Player of the Season AND EA SPORTS Player of the Season awards, Gravenberch has been the heartbeat of Arne Slot's champions, playing a pivotal role as the anchor of Liverpool's midfield as the Reds won only their second Premier League title. The 22-year-old Dutchman has missed only one match and has won 176 duels, made 67 tackles and 57 interceptions, and contributed in attack with four assists. No Liverpool player has won possession back from opponents as often as Gravenberch (185 times), while his tally of 57 interceptions is the second-most in the competition.
Dean Huijsen (AFC Bournemouth)
P30 W12 D9 L9 G3 A1 CS7
A summer signing from Juventus, the giant 6ft 6in Bournemouth centre-back has fitted seamlessly into Andoni Iraola's side, contributing at both ends of the pitch. The 20-year-old has made 181 clearances and won 114 duels, while also scoring three goals and becoming known for his "chill guy" celebration. He has helped Bournemouth set a club record points total for a Premier League season.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
P35 W18 D9 L8 G15 A8
The winner of last season's Hublot Young Player of the Season award is looking to retain his prize. Despite a slow end to the campaign, 23-year-old Palmer has 15 goals and eight assists, with only four players able to better his goal-involvement tally of 23. The Chelsea midfielder ranks joint-second for chances created, with his 85 level with that of Mohamed Salah and only three behind Bruno Fernandes. In September's 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion he became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match.
Joao Pedro (Brighton & Hove Albion)
P27 W10 D10 L7 G10 A6
The Brazilian has been a star of head coach Fabian Hurzeler's debut Premier League season. He has surpassed his best-ever top-flight goals total, scoring 10 times, while also contributing with six assists. The 23-year-old is only of only four players to take at least five penalties this season and score all of them, while only Bournemouth's Evanilson has won more penalties than he has.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)
P35 W17 D9 L9 G8 A9
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a stunning first full season with Aston Villa, producing eight goals and nine assists for the top-five chasers. He is one of only 16 players to have both attempted 50+ shots and created 50+ chances this season, while he ranks joint-third among all players for Expected Goals (xG) assisted from open play.
William Saliba (Arsenal)
P34 W18 D12 L4 G2 A0 CS12
Shortlisted for a second successive season, Saliba has been a rock in the meanest defence in the Premier League. Arsenal have conceded the fewest goals of all teams, with 33, with Frenchman Saliba contributing to 12 clean sheets. Now 24, Saliba has established himself as one of the league's best central defenders. He has made the second-most passes of all players, and of the 150 players to have had opponents attempt to dribble past them at least 60 times, no player has a better rate at defending those one-v-one battles than Saliba, who has been involved in 78 such situations but successfully dispossessed his opponent 79.5 per cent of the time without committing a foul.
