Footballers constantly change their position and direction on the pitch during matches, and those terms are also key in helping to solve maths problems.

Position and Direction is one of the free online Premier League Primary Stars home learning activities available to families.

In this latest challenge, your child has to work out the instructions to give to players so they can travel to their team-mates with the ball.

Can you help them get to the goal?

The pack also involves tasks for kids to find common football objects, while they develop skills in giving and following instructions for movement.

There is also a video appearance from Watford mascot Harry the Hornet, who helps to explain position and direction as he races through Vicarage Road stadium.
