Sheyi Ojo enjoyed a breakthrough season at Liverpool, returning from a loan deal in the Championship to make his mark on Jurgen Klopp's first team.
Ojo was sent on a season-long loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers and was recalled in January. He showed promising signs at Molineux, scoring twice and providing three assists as he started five matches.
On his return to Anfield, the 18-year-old winger was swiftly handed his debut in an FA Cup tie against Exeter City as the Reds juggled a mounting injury list and a busy fixture schedule.
He scored his first Liverpool goal in a 3-0 replay victory against Exeter but he had to wait for further first-team opportunities.
Ojo stepped back down to the club's Under-21 side, scoring five goals in two matches against Middlesbrough and another versus West Ham United.
His form led to a senior recall, earning a maiden Premier League start in a 4-1 defeat of Stoke City in April. He was substituted at half-time but not before setting up a goal for Daniel Sturridge with a delightful cross after beating Xherdan Shaqiri with a piece of skill on the touchline.
Six further appearances in the top flight would follow before the end of the season.
"I think I'm just learning from every experience and that will help me in the future," Ojo told liverpoolfc.com in the closing weeks of the 2015/16 campaign. "Jurgen is a great manager and I'm happy to be working under him. I'm just trying to learn off him and the first-team staff and even the academy staff.
"He's given me loads of confidence ever since I've come back from Wolves and I'm grateful for that. Hopefully I can keep repaying him with good performances."
With fellow wide man Jordon Ibe signing for AFC Bournemouth earlier this week, Ojo looks set for more opportunities to impress in 2016/17.
