Fulham got their Premeir League Cup campaign off to a winning start, beating Middlesbrough 3-1 at Motspur Park, although the visitors were boosted by the return from injury of James Husband.
In the Group F match, two goals from Mattias Kait and a strike from Stephen Humphreys put Fulham in control during the first half, before Carlos De Pena pulled a goal back from the penalty spot for Boro.
