Tottenham Hotspur could have a huge say in who lifts the 2023/24 Premier League Trophy.

Spurs play ALL of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City before the end of the season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are the only other team who face all three title contenders over the remaining six Matchweeks.

But Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City should be extra wary of Spurs, who have a superb record in matches against the top six this season.

Indeed, they have won the joint-most points per match in meetings with top-six teams, losing only once in seven such contests, against Aston Villa

Spurs are UNBEATEN in their three matches against the title contenders, drawing 2-2 against Arsenal, winning 2-1 v Liverpool, and drawing 3-3 to Manchester City.

And two of those three matches, against Arsenal and Man City, were away from home.

Spurs' results v top six

Spurs 2-0 Man Utd
Arsenal 2-2 Spurs
Spurs 2-1 Liverpool
Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa
Man City 3-3 Spurs
Man Utd 2-2 Spurs
Aston Villa 0-4 Spurs

Only Man City have won more points in top-six head-to-heads this season, but City have played two matches more.

And extra worryingly for Liverpool, they rank bottom of the top six mini-league, averaging just one point per match.

Top six mini-league
Club P W D L Pts
Man City 9 3 4 2 13
Arsenal 7 3 3 1 12
Spurs 7 3 3 1 12

Man Utd 9 2 3 4 9
Liverpool 8 1 5 2 8
But do Liverpool have advantage?

Despite Liverpool's poor record in top-six matches, Liverpool may feel the most confident of the title contenders when facing Spurs, however, as they are the only side who play them at home.

Spurs have not won at Anfield since 2010/11.

Furthermore, Spurs' rescheduled trip to Chelsea is just three days before their trip to Anfield.

North London derby factor?

Arsenal are the first of the title contenders to face Spurs, travelling to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 28 April.

The Gunners won at their local rivals last season but before that had not tasted victory there in the league since 2013/14. Spurs are also in fine form at home this season. Their win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday was their eighth win in their last nine home Premier League matches.

Arsenal also have to deal with playing five matches in the 20 days leading up to the match. Conversely, Spurs' trip to Newcastle United on 13 April is their ONLY fixture before the north London derby, which they should be fresh for.

Man City go last

Man City are the last of the title contenders to face Spurs, travelling there in their penultimate match of the season.

And Man City have a bit of a hoodoo at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

City have played four Premier League matches at the venue since it opened, losing all four and failing to score a single goal. They also lost there in the UEFA Champions League in 2019.

City did, however, finally end their five-match winless and goalless run at the stadium earlier this season, winning 1-0 in the FA Cup in January, Nathan Ake scoring with what was their 102nd shot overall at the ground.

Indeed, after Man City won the Treble last season Pep Guardiola was asked what he had left to achieve, and joked: “Score a goal against Spurs away. It’s why I stay: I want to beat Spurs away.”

Now that curse has been lifted, City will hope their next trip to Spurs will be a more successful one that can help them to an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title.
