The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 38 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Sunday's 14:30 BST deadline.

These are all low-owned picks who are generally being overlooked and unlikely to be owned by your rivals, helping to give Fantasy managers a final-day push towards mini-league glory or an improved overall rank.

Kai Havertz (Arsenal) £7.7m

Gameweek 37 marked the return of the Arsenal forward after a three-month absence.

The Germany international was brought on in the 76th minute of the Gunners' 1-0 win over Newcastle United last Sunday.

Havertz can expect more minutes on the final weekend at Southampton, too, be it from the start or again as a substitute.

He had been in fine form before injury struck in February, delivering five attacking returns in his last six starts.

Havertz, owned by five per cent of managers, enjoys facing the relegated clubs, too, having scored in all three such encounters in 2024/25.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) £7.2m

While Arne Slot has rotated his team in the wake of his side securing the title, Gakpo has been a mainstay of his head coach's starting line-ups.

The Dutchman is one of only two Liverpool outfield players who have started each of the Reds' last five Premier League matches.

Gakpo, sat in five per cent of squads, has scored twice over that period, both at Anfield.

It's the forward's home form that really catches the eye ahead of Liverpool's final match of 2024/25, as Crystal Palace head to Anfield.

The Netherlands international has, incredibly, scored in each of his last eight league starts on Merseyside.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest) £6.5m

Nottingham Forest almost certainly have to beat Chelsea on the final day to stand any chance of UEFA Champions League qualification.

It should encourage an attacking mindset from Nuno Espirito Santo's side at the City Ground.

If Forest are to score, there's a decent chance that Gibbs-White, who is owned by seven per cent of managers, will be involved.

The England international goes into Gameweek 38 off the back of successive double-digit scores.

Those recent hauls have taken him to an eye-catching 17 attacking returns over his last 23 appearances.

Only three midfielders can better that tally since Gibbs-White's purple patch started in Gameweek 15.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham) £6.2m

Fantasy managers looking for an alternative West Ham player to Jarrod Bowen (£7.9m) should consider his team-mate Kudus.

The Hammers' opponents in Gameweek 38 are Ipswich Town, whose clean sheet drought of 18 matches is the longest current run in the Premier League.

Bowen will be the go-to West Ham pick for many off the back of four goals and two assists over his last five matches.

But Kudus's underlying numbers over the last six Gameweeks have been encouraging, as you can see in the table below.

The Ghanaian winger also scored in the reverse fixture against the Tractor Boys back in Gameweek 7.

Marco Asensio (Aston Villa) £6.1m

Aston Villa's on-loan midfielder was arguably the best player on the pitch in Gameweek 37.

Asensio's totals of four shots and two chances created weren't bettered by anyone else on show at Villa Park, indeed.

It's a recurring theme for the Spaniard, who can match or better many of his team-mates for key underlying numbers over the last six Gameweeks, as you can see in the table below.

Villa need at least a draw, and very likely a win, at Manchester United in Gameweek 38 to stand any chance of a top-five finish and Champions League qualification.

This could be a great time for Asensio, owned by only two per cent of managers, and his team-mates to be heading to Old Trafford, however, straight after a potentially energy-sapping UEFA Europa League final and with Man Utd on their longest winless run in Premier League history.
