Goals from Oli McBurnie and Adnan Maric earned a 2-0 victory for Swansea City that dented Aston Villa's hopes of securing a Division 2 play-off place.

Swansea, who have already been crowned champions, took the lead through McBurnie with 12 minutes gone at their Landore training centre.

Maric doubled their advantage in the second half, meaning the Swans recorded their 16th win of the PL2 season.

Swansea play their next and final league match away at Stoke on April 22, while Villa travel to Blackburn on Monday 24th, looking to leapfrog West Ham United, who are one point above them, into fifth place - the final play-off position.
