The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts predict how much players will cost next season and explain their reasoning.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL): Salah finished the season at £13.6m and it was an FPL record points tally. I think he should be at least £14.0m. Anything lower than that and he becomes an automatic pick in most teams.

2024/25 starting price: £12.5m
2025/26 prediction: £14.0m+

Erling Haaland (Man City)

Pras (@Pras_FPL): I still think Haaland and Manchester City in general will bounce back next year. Therefore, I hope his price is £0.5m cheaper than Salah. I guess £13.5m so that there is a temptation to pick him over Salah at times, especially over favourable fixture runs.

2024/25 starting price: £15.0m
2025/26 prediction: £13.5m

Alexander Isak (Newcastle)

Oscar (@FPLFocal): Isak can be considered a true premium after the season he's had and I expect his price tag will reflect that. My prediction is £10.0m next season. That feels like a fair price after 23 goals, six assists and 211 points. We'll have some difficult decisions in 2025/26 with so many premium price tags to weigh up, and with room for only two or three at most.

2024/25 starting price: £8.5m
2025/26 prediction: £10.0m

Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry): Palmer is one of the big talking points. His season started well, before his returns dried up with no open-play goal since Gameweek 21. I expect him to maintain a similar price to last season when he started at £10.5m. I predict £10.0m and I imagine he will be a big Gameweek 1 differential as a result.

2024/25 starting price: £10.5m
2025/26 prediction: £10.0m

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Saka has been unlucky with injuries this season. In the opening 13 Gameweeks of the season he returned four double-digit hauls and registered 98 points. This was only bettered by Salah and Palmer.

Since his return from injury in Gameweek 30, Saka was unable to rediscover his form, recording pre-assists but getting no FPL points for it. Saka started this season at £10.0m, an increase of £1.5m on the previous year. Holding him at £10.0m, or a slight increase to £10.5m, feels reasonable.

Had he been fit to continue his early-season form throughout the rest of the campaign, I would have predicted a much bigger jump.

2024/25 starting price: £10.0m
2025/26 prediction: £10.0m - £10.5m

Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford)

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice): Mbeumo was the second-best points-scorer in the game this season with 20 goals and nine assists. He ended the season in almost 50 per cent of teams and his cost rose from £7.0m to £8.3m.

With his future uncertain at Brentford, he will be a difficult player to price until we know which club he is at, but there is every chance at a new club he loses penalties, free-kicks and corners. This will surely affect his output but, regardless, he was a super-consistent FPL option this season and should therefore come in around £8.5m to £9.0m.

2024/25 starting price: £7.0m
2025/26 prediction: £8.5m - £9.0m

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Jarrod Bowen has become such a talisman for Graham Potter this season. Since Potter’s arrival, Bowen has been involved in 75 per cent of West Ham's goals. He finished Gameweek 38 at £7.9m, and I'd imagine he'll get a price rise and start next season at £8.0m or £8.5m.

2024/25 starting price: £7.5m
2025/26 prediction: £8.0m - £8.5m

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick): I can see Eze receiving a price rise after another brilliant season and a strong finish to 2024/25. His overall points return was less than it was two seasons ago in 2022/2023, but his influence on the pitch increased and his level of performance remained consistent. Next season I predict he will be 7.5m.

2024/25 starting price: £7.0m
2025/26 prediction: £7.5m

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa)

Az Phillips (@FPLBlackBox_Az): A tally of 161 points is a great return for a £5.0m asset and I expect Rogers' price to rise considerably next season. Nineteen goal involvements is fantastic, but I can't see him being priced the same as Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m) with 20 goal involvements. A price of around £7.0m is most likely.

2024/25 starting price: £5.0m
2025/26 prediction: £7.0m

William Saliba (Arsenal)

Pranil Sheth (@lateriser12): Arsenal still remain one of the most reliable defences in the league and I expect Saliba's price to remain at a premium of £6.0m.

2024/25 starting price: £6.0m
2025/26 prediction: £6.0m
