Stoke City have announced the signing of right-back Moritz Bauer from Rubin Kazan.
The 25-year-old moves to the bet365 Stadium for an undisclosed fee after agreeing a four-and-a-half year contract.
"He's a very highly-regarded player who broke into the Austrian senior side last year and he adds to the defensive resources at our disposal," Stoke City chief executive Tony Scholes told the club's official website.
He is Stoke's first senior signing of the January transfer window and could make his debut in their next match, which is at Manchester United on Monday.
