Elijah Adebayo's penalty on the stroke of half-time gave Fulham a 2-1 win over Stoke City in Division 2.

Stoke were ahead after only two minutes at Motspur Park when Daniel Jarvis struck from inside the area.

Fulham levelled on 27 minutes when defender Robert Atkinson bundled the ball in from close range.

With half-time approaching Lewis Banks conceded a penalty and 19-year-old Adebayo made no mistake from the spot.

Tenth-placed Fulham's next PL2 match is at Wolverhampton Wanderers on 23 October, while Stoke, in 11th, host West Bromwich Albion three days earlier.
