Every Gameweek we get the views and tips from one of the eight managers in the "Clash Across The Pond" league.

This pitches eight Fantasy Premier League Draft managers in head-to-head battles, with four UK pundits doing battle with their US rivals.

In Gameweek 3, Andy's Allstars recorded a third successive victory - all of which have come against UK managers.

Gameweek 3 results
Team Score Team
Sean’s Super Subs (US) 22 53 10 Huddersfield Lane (US)
Get on the Snake (US) 38 47 Sutherns Comfort (UK)
Andy's Allstars (UK) 52 46 Woody Allen (UK)
Jonty’s XI (UK) 26 34 Rotoworld_PL (US)

We caught up with Andy ahead of his first encounter against a US opponent this weekend.

Team name: Andy's Allstars

Current squad: Ederson, Forster; Kompany, Luiz, Blind, Monreal, Cedric; Eriksen, Mkhitaryan, Pedro, Phillips, Ince; Morata, Rodriguez, Abraham.

I never really expected this kind of start.

When I was forced to turn to Alvaro Morata as my main striker in the draft, I was prepared to wait it out for his first Chelsea goals.

But he has been one of my top performers with his 24 points helping me to three victories against my UK team-mates.

Now I face my first US opponent.

Neil Thurman has also started strongly, and I've plenty to fear in his squad - particularly Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane.

Meanwhile, off the pitch, I am always looking to exploit the waiver and free agent system.

Troy Deeney departed in Gameweek 3, with Tammy Abraham drafted in ahead of Swansea City's favourable run of fixtures.

Right now, Pedro looks to be hovering over the trapdoor with Eden Hazard's return likely to threaten his minutes.

But having missed out on Michail Antonio, Richarlison and Jese in recent weeks, I am keeping my waiver targets under wraps.

All those players look likely to prosper in future Gameweeks, so if they are free agents in your league, I recommend planning a swoop.

The defence is the other area I am always looking to tweak; there are always so many options in the pool in this position.

I like to assess my Gameweek opponent and try to cover their defenders and potential clean-sheet returns using free agent trades.

It is a great head-to-head strategy.
