Manchester United were beaten by Porto at the Premier League International Cup quarter-final stage after a second half double from Israel Leon.
Following a goalless first 45 minutes, United goalkeeper Dean Henderson saved Leon's penalty.
But the striker shrugged off the miss to score twice in the next ten minutes at Leigh Sports Village to take the Portuguese side through.
United are back in action on Monday 6 March when they face Sunderland at Eppleton Colliery in Premier League 2.
