The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 36 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday's 13:30 BST deadline.

Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest) £7.1m

The attacking returns might have dried up a little for Wood of late, but there is cause for optimism over the remaining three Gameweeks.

The New Zealand international delivered four goals and 28 points in the reverse fixtures of his Gameweek 36-38 matches.

That included a brace against this weekend's opponents Leicester City, who haven't kept a single away clean sheet all season.

Wood needs just one more goal to reach the 20 mark in 2024/25.

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) £6.9m

Only Ipswich Town and Southampton are on a longer run without a clean sheet than Tottenham Hotspur, who host Crystal Palace and Eze on Sunday.

Spurs haven't recorded a shutout across their last 10 Premier League matches, conceding 20 goals over that period.

With Ange Postecoglou's side in UEFA Europa League action less than 72 hours before they host the Eagles, and assuming the Spurs head coach is again likely to manage the minutes of his first-team regulars in the league, this could be an appealing fixture for Eze and his fellow Palace assets.

The England international has been in good form of late, producing five attacking returns over his last six matches. That would have been six from six had he not missed a penalty in Gameweek 32.

Josko Gvardiol (Man City) £6.4m

Having started the last six Gameweeks at centre-back, Gvardiol's usual open-play goal threat has been affected. Indeed, all three of his shots came from set-pieces.

Nico O'Reilly (£4.9m) has been starting at left-back during that time.

In Gameweek 35, however, we saw the fit-again Manuel Akanji (£5.3m) replace O'Reilly after 57 minutes. Akanji's introduction meant that Gvardiol reverted to left-back.

It remains to be seen if Pep Guardiola makes that tactical adjustment for the trip to relegated Southampton in Gameweek 36. If so, we could soon see Gvardiol back to his attacking best.

Even if not, the Croat will be facing the division's lowest scorers, who also happen to have conceded more set-piece attempts than any other club in 2024/25.

Kevin Schade (Brentford) £5.1m

Recent Ones to Watch articles have highlighted the widely-discussed appeal of Bryan Mbeumo (£8.2m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.7m).

But the third member of Brentford's front three has reminded us of his own worth over the last two Gameweeks.

Schade has scored three goals across his last two outings, delivering a 14-point haul last time out.

The win over Manchester United saw him notch his ninth and 10th strikes of the campaign and means he is the third Brentford attacker to reach double figures for goals in 2024/25, after the aforementioned Mbeumo and Wissa.

On a run of 13 consecutive league starts and owned by only 1.2 per cent of FPL managers, Schade could be the perfect differential from the Bees' potent frontline for the run-in.

Brentford's final three fixtures all score no more than three in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), while Gameweek 36 opponents Ipswich Town haven't kept a single clean sheet in 2025.

Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) £4.7m

From Gameweek 11 onwards, Fernandez's total of 14 attacking returns has been bettered by only five other FPL midfielders. It's also one more than Cole Palmer (£10.5m) has managed over the same period.

Three of the Argentina international's attacking returns have arrived across the last three Gameweeks.

There's reason to be optimistic about further goals and assists, too.

The return from injury of defensive midfielder Romeo Lavia (£4.5m), coupled with Moises Caicedo's (£4.9m) new role as an "inverted" right-back, means that Fernandez should be allowed more attacking freedom from Chelsea's midfield. We saw that in Gameweek 35, indeed, with his goal from inside the box against Liverpool.

Goal threat aside, his total of 75 chances created in 2024/25 is the fourth-highest in the Premier League. Up next is a trip to Newcastle United on Sunday.
