Wingers Wilfried Zaha (£5.3) and Yannick Bolasie (£6.1m) are re-united in our Gameweek 12 Scout Selection, providing cut-price potential on the back of a recent run of FPL point returns.

Zaha has supplied assists in the previous three Gameweeks for Crystal Palace and will be a key weapon against Manchester City at Selhurst Park.

Meanwhile, Everton's Bolasie has produced points in three of the last four Gameweeks and has already bettered last season's assist tally at Palace with four to his name so far.

He will be a major concern for visitors Swansea City at Goodison Park.

Elsewhere in our midfield, news of Eden Hazard's (£10.1m) availability for Chelsea's trip to Middlesbrough provided the green light to swoop for the on-song Belgian.

Five goals and 49 points over the last four Gameweeks have earned him 250,000+ new owners prior to Saturday's 11.30am deadline. Hazard was equally essential for our own line-up.

Jurgen Klopp's Brazilian midfield pairing have been almost essential assets of late: Philippe Coutinho (£8.7m) has returned 39 points in his last three Gameweeks, while Roberto Firmino (£8.7m) has claimed 26 points over the same spell.

With Coutinho nursing a minor hamstring problem, we have opted for Firmino's assured starting role as Liverpool visit Southampton.

We've got big expectations for a front three bristling with goals.

Sergio Aguero (£13.2m) is our sole representative from Pep Guardiola's Manchester City line-up, but a potent choice.

The Argentinian has been almost unstoppable on the road this season, firing six of his eight strikes away from the Etihad Stadium.

The Palace rearguard has shipped eight goals in five home matches and are without a clean sheet all season.

That points to further away-day joy for Aguero and is enough for us to hand him the captaincy.

Romelu Lukaku (£9.9m) ran Aguero close and is our vice captain.

Everton's talisman has scored in his last three Goodison Park matches and looks primed to punish visitors Swansea City following a Gameweek 11 blank at Chelsea.

Sunderland's Jermain Defoe (£7.4m) completes the attack. His 150th Premier League goal looks within reach in the Stadium of Light encounter with Hull City.

Only Leicester City have conceded more than the Tigers' 13 away goals, while Defoe has contributed to 77% of Sunderland's strikes.

Clean-sheet potential, coupled with attacking promise, govern our back-three selection.

West Bromwich Albion's Gareth McAuley (£4.7m) has already scored twice ahead of Monday night's meeting with Burnley at The Hawthorns.

While with five clean sheets in the last five Gameweeks, Marcos Alonso (£6.0m) appears to be a crucial component of any FPL defence given Chelsea's current form.

The Spaniard also boasts a goal and an assist over that spell.

Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose (£5.9m) completes the back-line ahead of a London derby with West Ham United.

Now £0.2m cheaper than team-mate Kyle Walker (£6.1m), he betters his fellow full-back for both ICT Creativity (91 vs 73) and Threat (63 vs 18) over the last four Gameweeks.

Finally, Sunderland's Jordan Pickford (£4.1m) earns a recall in goal.

The new England call-up is without a clean sheet this season but has the opportunity to change matters with the visit of Hull City.

Only Burnley have mustered fewer than the Tigers' 44 goal attempts on the road.
