The arrival of Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City should bring their players into the plans of Fantasy Premier League managers.

Leicester are one of the teams without a blank Gameweek through to the end of the season and, with a good set of fixtures also in prospect, Fantasy experts Sam and Lee Bonfield say their players need to monitored.

“The stars have aligned,” says Lee Bonfield on the latest FPL Show. “All of the things that we look for as FPL managers are there for the taking.”

James Maddison (£6.7m) is one player, alongside Jamie Vardy (£8.9m), who stands out.

"Maddison in particular, something like 21 chances created in the last four, immensely creative,” says Lee Bonfield, who is considering him as a replacement for Richarlison on his team.

"He, [Ryan] Fraser and [Eden] Hazard are the three most creative midfielders in the league over the course of the season."

Barnes better value?

However, Vardy and Maddison have each provided only one double-digit return this season so Sam Bonfield suggests better value might be found from Harvey Barnes (£5.5m).

“Harvey Barnes, at the million and a bit cheaper, has had 21 shots on goal over the last few Gameweeks,” she says.

“Only three of them have been on target, so we're not talking about highly consistent, but they've got to impress the new manager.

“There's got to be a change of fortunes at Leicester, so why not take a punt on one of them?”
