None of Spurs’ last 20 PL home fixtures against Newcastle have ended as a draw (12 wins for Spurs, eight for Newcastle).

If Tottenham Hotspur win or lose here, they would set a new PL record for the most consecutive matches without a draw (currently 28).

Spurs have won their last two PL matches despite conceding the first goal. They could now win a third successive match in that manner for the first time in the competition.

Salomon Rondon, whose six PL goals this season are twice as many as any other Newcastle player, could now score in a second successive top-flight appearance for the first time since September 2016.
