He is leading Brazil's hopes for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but four years ago Gabriel Jesus was painting the streets of his hometown in his bare feet. 

Fast-forward to 2018 and his face is being painted across the nation.

A 112-foot tall mural of Jesus's iconic goal celebration is rising above his hometown in Sao Paolo, where thousands of kids dream of following in their hero's footsteps. 

"He is an example," a boy from his town says. "Just because he came from here, from where we are. He was as poor as we are."

Manchester City visited Brazil to see how their 21-year-old champion is inspiring a generation.
