Inventive Sanchez can make difference to Man Utd

Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Hugo Lloris and Danny Rose have all returned to full training.

However, Alderweireld is not yet available for selection, while Serge Aurier (calf) and Harry Winks (ankle) remain out.

Manchester United have no fresh injury concerns with only Eric Bailly (ankle) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (knee) unavailable to Jose Mourinho.

Alexis Sanchez could make his Premier League debut for the Red Devils following his transfer from Arsenal.

Did you know?

Manchester United have won 80 league matches against Tottenham Hotspur. Only against Aston Villa (85) and Arsenal (82) have they won more.

Spurs have won two of their seven Premier League matches against Man Utd under Mauricio Pochettino (W2 D1 L4). This is as many as they’d won in their previous 26 matches against them.

Alexis Sanchez scored in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Spurs in November. If he makes his league debut for United, he could become the third player to score against Spurs for different clubs in the same season (Eric Cantona in 1992/93 and Benito Carbone in 1999/00).

Harry Kane is one goal away from reaching 100 in the Premier League. None of the 26 players to have reached the milestone have done so against Man Utd.

What the managers say

Mauricio Pochettino: "In the last few years every single game against Manchester United was so competitive, at White Hart Lane or Old Trafford. We are ready to fight."

Jose Mourinho: "It is a really big game. The difference between us and Spurs is seven or eight points, but the reality is they are a top team in terms of their quality and ambitions, and a team of our level."
