The in-demand Alexander Isak (£8.8m) delivered a second successive double-figure to delight his 715,000+ new owners in Fantasy Premier League.

The most-bought forward of the round registered his first Premier League hat-trick and his best EVER return with a 17-point haul in Newcastle United's 4-0 win at Ipswich Town.

Isak has now produced at least one attacking return in each of the last four Gameweeks, notching six goals and two assists for a total of 47 points, 13 more than any other player.

And, after a brief pause in Gameweek 16 thanks to Isak, the "curse" of the most-bought player returned, with Amad (£5.3m) blanking in Manchester United's 3-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth

The most-bought player has now failed to produce immediate rewards in six of the last seven Gameweeks.

Player Bought by Pts
Amad 882,520 2
Robinson 750,090 6
Isak 715,448 17
Hall 484,915 7
Gabriel 301,741 4

Amad was the only member of the top five transfers in to blank.

Isak's team-mate Lewis Hall (£4.6m) followed up his 15-point haul last time out with a clean sheet and seven points as he continued his good form.

Gabriel (£6.2m) claimed an assist in Arsenal's 5-1 win at Crystal Palace and has now registered a return in each of his last four appearances. During that spell the centre-back has two clean sheets, two assists and a goal.

And the most-recruited defender, Antonee Robinson (£4.8m), completed a good weekend for the men at the back with a clean sheet in Fulham's 0-0 draw with Southampton. The full-back demonstrated his attacking appeal, supplying nine crosses and creating three chances, both match-leading totals.

Elsewhere, Cole Palmer (£11.2m) became the most-selected player in Fantasy, found in 64.1 per cent of squads.

Both him and Mohamed Salah (£13.4m) are each owned by more than seven million managers, the first time for either player.

They join Erling Haaland (£14.9m), Gabriel Jesus (£6.7m), Bukayo Saka (£10.6m) and Kieran Trippier (£5.6m) in reaching that mark in all-time Fantasy history.
