The U15 Premier League Floodlit Super Cup 2023/24, which was expanded this season to increase the number of competitive matches clubs received, reached its conclusion on Thursday 9 May, 2024.
The final at Kingsmeadow Stadium was an eight-goal thriller as Chelsea beat Leeds United by a 5-3 scoreline to be crowned U15 PL Floodlit Super Cup champions.
"The key moment for our boys in the game was equalising straight away after going behind at 2-1," said Chelsea coach Sam Hurrell.
"They scored two very quick goals, deserved goals, but for the boys to then literally bounce back within 30 seconds, I think that was a key turning point for us to then go on and win the game."
This was the first time Chelsea had won the Floodlit Super Cup since 2018, continuing a remarkable run of success for this particular Blues team.
They have now won the U13 Premier League Cup, U14 Premier League Albert Phelan Cup, and the U15 PL Floodlit Super Cup in consecutive seasons.
