Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler says 18-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold has “every attribute to be a top player”.
The full-back featured alongside another Anfield great and local boy, Steven Gerrard, in Wednesday’s 3-0 victory over Sydney FC, capping off a breakthrough year that included seven Premier League appearances.

Like Alexander-Arnold, Fowler came through the academy at Melwood and he told liverpoolfc.com: “He has probably got every attribute to be a top player.
“His attitude, will and drive are what we want as Liverpool supporters. He has got that in abundance.I can see a big future for him.”
Alexander-Arnold will be hoping to represent Liverpool at this year’s Premier League Asia Trophy, which takes place at the Hong Kong Stadium on Wednesday 19 and Saturday 22 July.
