The event held at The Grove yesterday raised a significant amount of money for the charity’s first project – a £40,000 multi-purpose sports area that would allow Garston Manor School children to engage in a variety of different sports and physical activities.  “It went really, really well. It went a lot better than I anticipated,” said Deeney, who established the charity with his wife Stacey earlier this year.
