Tyrese Campbell (pictured above) scored twice to end Stoke City's eight-match winless run in Division 2 with a 2-0 victory away to Aston Villa at Walsall.

Campbell, son of former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, opened the scoring from long range in the 35th minute and secured all three points when he turned in a Lewis Banks cross late on.

The win lifted the Potters off the bottom of the table and dropped Villa down to seventh, five points adrift of the play-off places.

Stoke are next in action on Saturday when they entertain Reading in the Premier League Cup at Leek Town, while Villa do not play again until Monday 6 March when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers in a derby match at Molineux.
