Kazaiah Sterling scored in the fifth minute to give Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 win over Sunderland at Stevenage which took them out of the Division 1 relegation zone.
Sterling struck from the edge of the area to move Spurs four places up to seventh.
Ugo Ehiogu's side are now two points clear of the bottom two and only a place and two points adrift of the Black Cats.

Spurs' next match is the north London derby against Arsenal at the Gunners' training centre on Friday 3 March, while Sunderland are back in action in the Premier League Cup against Burnley at Turf Moor next Monday.
