Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has won three of his five Premier League away matches at Chelsea (L2). Of all visiting managers to have taken charge of at least three Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge, Howe has the best win rate (60 per cent).
Chelsea have won each of their last eight Premier League home matches against Newcastle. The Blues have only had four longer winning home runs against an opponent in their league history, most recently a run of nine against Bolton Wanderers between 1976 and 2003.
Newcastle have lost 23 of their last 24 Premier League away matches against sides starting the day in the top three of the table, with the exception being a 4-2 victory at Leicester City in May 2021.
No Chelsea player has scored more goals at Stamford Bridge in all competitions this season than Kai Havertz (5). However, just one of the German’s five home goals this term has come in the Premier League, during a 1-1 draw with Burnley in November.

- Kai Havertz (£7.8m) recorded both his two best scores of the campaign in DGW28, earning 14 and 12 points against Burnley and Norwich respectively. The German’s seven shots, six shots in the box and five shots on target are all team-leading totals in Chelsea’s last three matches.
- Ryan Fraser (£5.3m) has scored both his goals this season, and supplied three of his five assists, in his las six outings. The Newcastle winger amassed 40 points in that run, including a 13-point haul against Everton, who he also plays in DGW29.
