The Scout is tipping five players to produce big points in Gameweek 24 of Fantasy Premier League ahead of the deadline at 18:15 GMT on Tuesday 8 February.

Riyad Mahrez (MCI) £8.6m

Manchester City’s Algerian was in his most explosive form of 2021/22 prior to departing for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

He has produced a goal, an assist and a double-figure haul in three of his last four Gameweek appearances.

Mahrez totalled 44 points in that run, with his lowest score being nine points away at Arsenal

The underlying numbers highlight his all-round influence on Man City’s attack at the Etihad Stadium this term.

At home, Mahrez’s 24 shots, 15 shots in the box and 16 chances created each put him among the top two players for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The winger also scored twice and provided an assist in the 4-1 victory over Fulham in the FA Cup on his return from AFCON.

Aaron Cresswell (WHU) £5.3m

West Ham United’s left-back offers multiple routes to returns at home against Watford

Cresswell has accumulated 25 points in his last four home appearances, thanks to two assists, two clean sheets and five bonus points.

His delivery from set-pieces can be a major weapon against the Hornets, who have struggled to defend headed shots this season.

Allan Saint-Maximin (NEW) £6.7m

The Frenchman’s home form can prove decisive against Everton.

Saint-Maximin has scored all five of his goals this season at St James’ Park, earning nine points in each of his last two home matches.

His totals of 25 shots and 15 key passes both rank first for Newcastle United under Eddie Howe.

Marcus Rashford (MUN) £9.4m

After back-to-back goals off the bench against Brentford and West Ham in the last two Gameweeks, the England star is in the frame for a starting spot for Manchester United's trip to Burnley.

Rashford has an impressive record against the Clarets, earning returns in each of his last three meetings with them.

He has produced 22 points in those matches, scoring once and supplying a pair of assists.

Odsonne Edouard (CRY) £6.5m

The most-bought forward in Gameweek 24, Edouard has earned 122,000+ transfers in for Crystal Palace’s trip to Norwich City

The Eagles striker heads to Carrow Road on the back of 30 points in his last four appearances, scoring three goals and supplying two assists.

He claimed his season-high haul of 14 points in a 3-0 win over the Canaries as recently as Gameweek 20, producing a goal and two assists.
