Leeds United have announced their second signing of the day in defender Robin Koch. 

Koch has agreed a four-year deal and moves for an undisclosed fee from Freiburg, just hours after Spain forward Rodrigo Moreno joined from Valencia.

The centre-back becomes Leeds' fifth senior signing ahead of their Premier League return, which begins at champions Liverpool on 12 September.

Koch, 24, is a Germany international who has been included in their latest squad. 

Over the last three seasons he made 87 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals.  

In 2019/20 he helped Freiburg finish eighth in the Bundesliga, winning 64.1 per cent of his aerial duels and having 32 shots in as many appearances.
