A 20-year-old Jordan Henderson moved to Anfield from Sunderland on 9 June 2011 and has become one of the Premier League's most influential skippers, guiding the Reds to the top of the table this season following UEFA Champions League glory in 2018/19.

You can watch Henderson's best PL moments in the video above and find out what else happened on this day by going to the Premier League's new history section.

There you can also find retro club kits dating back to the competition's inaugural campaign and many other historical features, including past awards winners and reviews of every season.
