Defending champions Manchester City face a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion, while Newcastle United will host Chelsea, who won the inaugural competition in 2017/18.

Man City and Chelsea were two of the six teams to top their group and guarantee a place in the last eight.

They are joined in the quarter-finals by the two best runners-up, Everton and Stoke City.

Everton travel to Reading while Stoke have been rewarded with a home tie against Norwich City.

The fixtures are scheduled for Saturday 25 January 2020 but are subject to change.

In the knockout stages, all ties are one-off matches, decided by extra-time if level after 90 minutes and then penalties if required.
