Following a successful Wildcard in Gameweek 10, the FPL Experts Panel Team will be unchanged for Gameweek 11.

The decision to save a transfer ahead of Saturday's 11:30 GMT deadline gives the Fantasy Premier League experts two free transfers to use in Gameweek 12.

Raheem Sterling (£12.1m) was the outstanding performer in Gameweek 10, earning 22 points as the team’s captain. He will retain the armband for Manchester City's home match against Southampton.

Sterling scored twice and supplied two assists in the corresponding fixture last season. He faces a Saints side beaten 9-0 by Leicester City last time out, the biggest home defeat in Premier League history.

Kevin De Bruyne (£10.2m) is the vice-captain, having produced three double-figure hauls for Man City in his four home appearances.

There are also big expectations for Liverpool duo Sadio Mane (£11.9m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m), who visit Aston Villa.

The pair have six goals and six assists between them in the opening 10 Gameweeks.

Villa have conceded three goals on each of the three occasions they have faced teams who finished in the top five last season.

Budget forward Aaron Connolly (£4.6m) keeps his place for Brighton & Hove Albion's home contest with Norwich City.

The 19-year-old has provided two goals, two assists and 21 FPL points in the Seagulls' last two outings at the Amex Stadium.

What the experts say

Holly Shand (@FFCommunity_): The team is in good shape post-Wildcard, with most attacking players returning last weekend. It seems wise to hold the transfer while in this flexible formation.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Given that we played our Wildcard ahead of Gameweek 10 with the longer-term fixtures in mind, it makes perfect sense to roll the transfer this week. Ideally we would look to bring in Jamie Vardy (£9.3m), but budget restrictions meant that was too difficult on a Wildcard last week so it’s not possible on a free transfer this week.

Chuck Booth (@ChuckBoothSport): After finally turning our fortunes around with our Wildcard, the best move was to bank our transfer for future issues that may arise. Callum Hudson-Odoi (£6.0m) and Connolly are our biggest rotation risks, but with enough nailed-on players around them, there's no real need for a knee-jerk transfer.

Ben McNair (@drbenmcnair): Hudson-Odoi's minutes are a real worry for me. Christian Pulisic (£7.1m) grabbed his chance with a hat-trick last Gameweek and Willian (£7.0m) is playing well. I think we'll need to move him on, but this week we have plenty of other options for our starting XI.
