Southampton are seeking to extend a five-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Cardiff City are aiming for another win after beating AFC Bournemouth in their last outing, and to climb out of the bottom three. 

A minute’s silence will be held before the match in tribute to Emiliano Sala.

Southampton are without striker Danny Ings, who injured his hamstring in training, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has recovered from concussion.

Ryan Bertrand is also available again, as is Maya Yoshida, who is back from international duty at the Asia Cup, but Michael Obafemi (hamstring) and Mario Lemina (abdominal) are still sidelined.

Cardiff defender Sean Morrison remains out after undergoing an operation to remove his appendix.
