Yasser Larouci scored a spectacular goal as Liverpool came back from a goal down to complete a 3-1 Premier League International Cup victory against Hertha Berlin in Kirkby.
Neil Critchley's side were looking for a first win in the competition against a team featuring goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann, the son of Tottenham Hotspur legend Jurgen.
Liverpool fell behind in the third minute to Maurice Covic's goal, but Glen McAuley equalised from close range seven minutes later.
Larouci (pictured) put Liverpool ahead with a curling shot into the top corner on the half-hour.
Substitute Liam Millar sealed the win shortly after half-time.
Liverpool are second in Group E with four points, four behind Villarreal having played a match fewer.
Hertha are bottom, without a point after two matches.
