West Ham United 5-3 Swansea City, Premier League 2

Match summary

21 Oct 2018

West Ham United saw off a late Swansea City revival to win 5-3 in Dagenham.

After a Botti Biabi own goal had put the home side ahead on four minutes, they went 4-0 up by the 65th minute thanks to two strikes from Joe Powell and one from Sean Adarkwa.

But the Welsh side hit back three times in 16 minutes through Tyler Reid, Jordan Garrick and Adnan Maric to raise West Ham nerves.

But after a glaring Swansea miss these were eased from a last-minute goal from Veron Parkes that lifts West Ham to ninth on nine points, while Swansea are 11th on three.
