Having completed his first 100 days as Everton's manager, Marco Silva has quickly got a feel for his surroundings and recognised the club's importance to the local area.
That standing was highlighted as the Portuguese opened the Toffees' Blue Base facility, which will house Everton in the Community programmes.
"Everton is more than a club," says Silva in the video above. "Since I came and joined the club and started to work every day, Everton is a family. Everyone tries to be part of this family."

Silva is unbeaten with Everton, securing a victory and three draws from his opening four matches, and he will aim to keep that run going when West Ham United visit Goodison Park on Sunday.
"My players know what I want, what our way is," says the 41-year-old. "It's to think match by match, step by step.
"Now, in this moment, you don't look to the end of the Premier League. We are looking just to our next match against West Ham."
