Chelsea have announced that they and head coach Antonio Conte have parted company.

Conte joined Chelsea in the summer of 2016 and brought immediate success to Stamford Bridge. He guided the Blues to their fifth Premier League title in his first season in charge.

The 48-year-old Italian won the Barclays Manager of the Month award three months in succession in a remarkable campaign. His side set a then-record 30 victories in a Premier League season.

In 2017/18 Conte won the FA Cup following a 1-0 victory over Manchester United.

A statement on the club's official website reads: "We wish Antonio every success in his future career."
