2008: Zoltan Gera moves to Fulham

Fulham signed Hungary international Zoltan Gera from West Bromwich Albion.

The winger, who had scored eight goals in 53 Premier League appearances for West Brom, was an instant hit at Craven Cottage.

He played 32 times as Fulham finished finished seventh and qualified for the UEFA Europa League in his debut season.

Gera played a pivotal role in the Cottagers’ run to the Europa League final the following season, and went on to make 86 PL appearances in three seasons before returning to West Brom.

2013: Jesus Navas joins Manchester City

Manchester City completed the signing of Jesus Navas from Sevilla.

The winger had spent his entire career at Sevilla, and helped Spain win the 2010 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2012.

Navas scored four goals in 30 appearances as Man City won the Premier League title in his debut season at the Etihad Stadium.

In total he made 123 PL appearances for the Citizens before returning to Sevilla in August 2017.
