1997: Collymore signs for Aston Villa

After two seasons at Liverpool, Stan Collymore signed for Aston Villa.

The striker scored seven PL goals for the club in 45 appearances over two seasons at the club.

He became only the third Aston Villa player in history to score a hat-trick in a European competition, against Stromsgodset in the UEFA Cup, in 1998.

Collymore left Villa Park on a free transfer three years later, joining Martin O'Neill at Leicester City.

2012: Manchester City 3-2 QPR

Manchester City scored twice in stoppage time to win the title in the most extraordinary climax to a Premier League campaign.

City and rivals Man Utd went into the final day tied on 86 points.

And it looked as if the title would be heading to Old Trafford as United claimed a 1-0 win at Sunderland while City were 2-1 down at home to Queens Park Rangers with the match going into the final moments.

But Edin Dzeko's header and Sergio Aguero's famous strike in the fourth minute of stoppage time sparked scenes of wild celebration at the Etihad Stadium.

City won their first league title in 44 years on goal difference from United, while QPR avoided relegation by only a point.
