Burnley v AFC Bournemouth

A late goal from substitute Callum Wilson helped AFC Bournemouth come from behind to beat Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor.

Burnley went ahead on 39 minutes when Ashley Westwood's shot deflected into the path of Chris Wood to score.

AFC Bournemouth produced their equaliser on 74 minutes when Nick Pope denied Jermain Defoe, but Joshua King followed up to curl into the top corner.

With the match heading for a draw, Wilson kept his composure to strike the Cherries' winner in the third minute of stoppage time.

Despite defeat, Burnley recorded their best ever Premier League finish of seventh place with 54 points. AFC Bournemouth finished 10 points further back in 12th.
