When the LFC Foundation launched "Red Neighbours" community programme last year, one of the areas of focus was creating memorable experiences for young people in the L4 area of the city.
That will certainly be the case for 125 schoolchildren on Merseyside, who will be among the first people to get their hands on the new Liverpool home kit, and for free.
The schoolchildren who are part of the Red Neighbours programme will receive the free 2018/19 home kit to mark the end of the club's 125th anniversary year.
"Our kit isn't just something we wear to play - it is part of who we are as a team," Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson said.
"We feel immensely proud when pulling on the LFC home shirt, it means more to us than you could even imagine; after all, Liverpool Football Club is like no other."
Those lucky schoolchildren will, no doubt, be feeling the same.
