Everton have no new absentees and no one returning from injury. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has recovered from a hip problem.

Mason Holgate (ankle) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (knee) could play again this season but James McCarthy (broken leg) and Eliaquim Mangala (knee) will not return before August.

Newcastle United will be without Christian Atsu but otherwise have a fully fit squad.

Did you know?

Everton have won seven of their last eight league meetings with Newcastle United, losing the other, including the last four in a row. They’ve not won five consecutively against the Magpies in the top flight since January 1920.

Newcastle have won 11 points from their last seven away Premier League matches (W3 D2 L2), more than across their previous 22 on the road in the competition (W2 D4 L16).

Wayne Rooney has scored 15 PL goals against Newcastle, more than versus any other opponent. Indeed, the only players to have scored more against a specific opponent in the competition are: Alan Shearer v Leeds United (20 goals); Shearer v Everton (16); and Les Ferdinand v Everton (16).

Ayoze Perez has scored in three consecutive English league matches for the first time since November 2014. He’s never scored in four in a row before.
