Southampton missed the chance to move within one point of Brighton & Hove Albion and the Division 2 play-off places, as they drew 1-1 with the Seagulls at Amex Stadium.

An equaliser from Armani Little (pictured, centre) extends Southampton's unbeaten streak to four Premier League 2 matches, the same as Brighton's run without defeat.

Steven Alzate opened the scoring just before half-time for a Brighton side featuring Tim Krul, Connor Goldson, Beram Kayal and Leonardo Ulloa.

Little's 73rd-minute header leaves Southampton three places and four points behind Brighton in the table.
