The Scout is selecting five Fantasy Premier League players set to make an impact in Gameweek 19.

Wilfried Zaha (CRY) £6.9m

Revelling in a new free role in attack, Zaha can produce the points to force his way into FPL squads.

A goal and two assists in his last three starts highlights his potential as part of the Crystal Palace revival under manager Roy Hodgson.

The Eagles' recent attacking threat has been impressive.

Over the last four Gameweeks, Hodgson’s side have created 11 big chances, where the player is expected to score.

That places them third behind only Manchester City (18) and Liverpool (12).

Forward role

Zaha, playing as part of a front two, is the key figure in their attack.

Over those last four matches, he sits second in the Palace ranks for both shots (10) and chances created (seven).

In 2016/17, Zaha’s tally of seven goals and 11 assists was a strong FPL contribution.

But statistics show he can now progress further.

He fired a shot every 61.7 minutes last season, a figure that has improved to every 35.6 minutes in 2017/18.

Delivering chances

He is also creating chances at a faster rate.

Zaha has provided a goalscoring opportunity every 62.7 minutes, compared with every 77.5 minutes in 2016/17.

Back-to-back victories mean Palace travel to Swansea City for Gameweek 19 full of confidence.

Swansea are bottom of the league and parted company with head coach Paul Clement on Wednesday.

They have faced 46 shots on target at home. Only Watford, with 49, have allowed more.

Happy hunting ground

And Zaha will be in the mood to punish them.

He produced a goal and an assist at the Liberty Stadium last season and threatens a similar return this time around.

Zaha is another midfield differential vying for FPL attention, forming part of just 5.8% of squads.

Given his progress in a new attacking role, managers dare not overlook his potential.
