Mohamed Salah (£9.8m) is building a case to become the No 1 Fantasy Premier League captain pick.

After 14 Gameweeks, it has been Romelu Lukaku (£11.4m) and Harry Kane (£12.8m) who have dominated as the most popular selections.

But Salah's consistent points scoring, combined with Liverpool's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion, can change that.

The Egyptian was handed only 23 minutes off the bench at Stoke City on Wednesday night, yet still scored a brace to tally 13 points.

He has netted twice in three of the last four Gameweeks to soar away at the top of the overall standings on 108 points.

Salah provides the main challenge to Kane this time around.

Well-travelled Kane

The Tottenham Hotspur striker visits a Watford side who have conceded the most goals (15) in home matches.

Seven of Kane's 10 league goals have arrived on his travels, producing three 13-point tallies.

Away from home, he has fired more shots (33), shots inside the penalty area (22) and shots on target (12) than any other player.

Faith in Lukaku is in decline after only a single goal in his last seven Gameweeks.

The most-sold player in Gameweek 14 (356,000+), he has again earned more sales (117,000+) than any forward ahead of Manchester United's trip to Arsenal.

The Belgian's struggles could continue at Emirates Stadium: the Gunners have conceded only one goal in their last six matches.

Sanchez on song

Alexis Sanchez (£11.8m) will take on the Red Devils in fine form.

He has netted four goals in the last six Gameweeks, while over the same period, Man Utd's defence has claimed only two clean sheets.

Elsewhere, Eden Hazard (£10.7m) and Alvaro Morata (£10.7m) will also be among the main contenders as Chelsea host Newcastle United.

Afforded only nine minutes from the bench against Swansea City in midweek, Hazard has three goals and two assists in his last four starts.

Meanwhile, Morata failed to find the net against Paul Clement's side, yet fired six shots and four shots on target - no player produced more in Gameweek 14.

The Magpies arrive at Stamford Bridge with one clean sheet from their previous 10 Gameweeks.

Sterling strong

Manchester City's attackers also demand consideration.

Raheem Sterling (£8.2m) is the Gameweek's top transfer target (208,000+) ahead of their home match with West Ham United.

With concerns over rotation up front, and with Leroy Sane (£9.0m) a doubt following a virus, Sterling is perhaps the favoured option.

He has averaged 9.6 points per match (ppm) on home turf.

The FPL midfielder will test a Hammers defence that has conceded more goals (19) away from home than any other side.

A pair of proven goal scorers provide the differential options.

Rooney revival

Wayne Rooney (£7.2m) fired a hat-trick in Everton's 4-0 win over West Ham United on Wednesday.

Huddersfield Town are Saturday's visitors to Goodison Park for Sam Allardyce's first match in charge. The Terriers have conceded 12 goals in their last three away matches.

Finally, Jamie Vardy (£8.5m) heads into Saturday's 11:30 GMT deadline as the most sought-after forward.

The Leicester City striker takes on the Burnley defence backed by another 95,000+ owners.

Vardy has scored in four of his last six home appearances, including strikes against Chelsea, Liverpool and in the 2-1 win over Spurs on Tuesday evening.
