Blackburn 2-2 West Brom, PL2

Match summary

27 Nov 2017
Blackburn v West Brom, PL2

Lewis Hardcastle's 80th minute penalty earned a point for Blackburn Rovers but their 2-2 draw with bottom-placed West Bromwich Albion stopped them going top of Division 2.

Nick Clayton-Phillips put the Baggies ahead in the 37th minute but a Kyle Howkins own goal brought Rovers level just after half-time.

Zak Brown drove home from the edge of the area just past the hour mark to restore West Brom's lead at Leyland but Hardcastle held his nerve to score Blackburn's second equaliser from the spot.

Rovers are two points behind leaders Middlesbrough, while the Baggies are four adrift of Stoke City.
