Stoke City manager Mark Hughes says he is looking forward to soon being able to pick a settled backline.

Central defenders Ryan Shawcross, Geoff Cameron, Kurt Zouma, Kevin Wimmer and Bruno Martins Indi have all had to miss matches at some point this campaign, forcing Hughes to regularly tweak his defence.

"It has been difficult for us because clearly we have had so many injuries in that area," Hughes told Stoke City's official website. "It is a huge thing and if you can have that continuity then it is a huge help - we need that now to help move us on."

Cameron has been ruled out of the Saturday lunchtime contest against Leicester City, and there is also uncertainty surrounding other defenders.
