AFC Bournemouth have completed the permanent signing of Enes Unal from LaLiga side Getafe.

The Turkish forward, 27, joined the Cherries on loan in January and has now signed a four-year contract with the club.

"I'm so happy to be heading back to Bournemouth for the new season," Unal told the club's website.

"I enjoyed testing myself in the Premier League while regaining my fitness, and now I am really excited for the years ahead.

"The project here is something I was keen to be a part of back in January, and I think that we have great potential together to improve further."

Unal made 16 Premier League appearances for Bournemouth this season, scoring twice and providing two assists.

His first goal for the club came on 9 March in a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United, where the Cherries came from two goals down to earn a point.

Four days later, Unal played a pivotal role in Bournemouth's incredible comeback against Luton Town, providing the assist for Antoine Semenyo's winner in their 4-3 turnaround victory.

Unal, who has been capped 32 times by his country at senior level, has also been named in the provisional squad for next month’s UEFA Euro 2024 tournament.
