The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 35 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Friday's 18:30 BST deadline.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £8.9m

An injury to Marcus Rashford (£6.7m) could present Watkins with more secure game time for the remainder of the season.

Rashford missed Aston Villa's FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, with Unai Emery saying the on-loan Manchester United attacker could be out for "weeks".

Watkins has started only two of the last five Premier League matches thanks to the good form of Rashford, but with his positional rival sidelined, there is less of a threat to his minutes.

When he has been on the pitch, Watkins has demonstrated why he's a great Fantasy pick.

With 15 goals and seven assists to his name in 2024/25, he's averaging an attacking return every 102.6 minutes. For context, that's an even better rate than Erling Haaland (£14.8m) has managed.

Up next for Watkins is a home match against Fulham, whom he has scored against in each of his last three meetings.

Yoane Wissa (Brentford) £6.6m

With seven attacking returns across his last eight starts, Wissa is one of FPL's in-form forwards.

Averaging a goal every other appearance, his tally of 15 goals this season is made all the more impressive given that he's not on penalty-taking duties.

Sunday's visit of Manchester United presents Wissa with a further chance to boost his tally.

The Red Devils will more than likely have one eye elsewhere, as their two-legged UEFA Europa League semi-final against Athletic Bilbao falls on either side of their trip to Brentford.

Ruben Amorim rotated heavily around United's last European double-header against Lyon and is expected to ring the changes again in Gameweek 35.

After that for Wissa and the Bees is a trip to Ipswich Town, who are without a clean sheet in 2025.

Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth) £5.7m

A trip to Emirates Stadium might not be the easiest of fixtures on paper, but this may not be a bad time for Bournemouth to face Arsenal.

The Gunners' meeting with Andoni Iraola's side falls right in the middle of their two-legged UEFA Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Mikel Arteta has managed some of his key players' minutes around European fixtures in recent weeks, so the hosts may not be at full strength in north London on Saturday.

Beyond this weekend, the Cherries also have one of the standout fixtures of Gameweek 38, when a Leicester City side without a clean sheet since Gameweek 7 head to Vitality Stadium.

Semenyo, who has three attacking returns over his last four appearances, is a constant attacking threat. The midfielder ranks second for shots in the Premier League this season, producing at least one goal attempt in each of his 33 starts.

He's also one of only two members of Iraola's squad, the other being Milos Kerkez (£5.3m), not to be benched in 2024/25.

Jacob Murphy (Newcastle) £5.3m

Brighton & Hove Albion earned their first win in six matches in Gameweek 34, but opposition attackers may still fancy facing the Seagulls right now.

Fabian Hurzeler's side have conceded two or more goals in each of their last six Premier League matches.

Indeed, they are without a clean sheet over their last eight top-flight contests.

Newcastle's in-form winger Murphy may particularly relish facing the Seagulls this weekend.

Both of the goals that Brighton conceded last Saturday were assisted by Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) down West Ham's right flank.

In fact, Brighton have allowed 28 opposition chances to be created from that side of the pitch across the last six Gameweeks - that's double what they've conceded on the opposite wing.

Jake O'Brien (Everton) £4.5m

Everton's final two matches at Goodison Park are against two of the three relegated clubs.

Ipswich and Southampton, who are also in the bottom three for goals scored in 2024/25, head to Goodison Park in Gameweeks 35 and 37.

The Toffees' clean-sheet prospects in those two fixtures are promising, then, but defender O'Brien may also be eyeing a goal or two.

Ipswich have conceded a league-high nine goals from set-pieces over the last 10 Gameweeks.

Southampton, meanwhile, have allowed more chances from dead-ball situations than any other Premier League team in 2024/25.

Despite not being handed his first Everton league start until Gameweek 22, O'Brien has already scored twice.

The towering defender is a real presence at set-pieces, as evidenced by his four goals for Lyon in Ligue 1 last season.
