The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Double Gameweek 28 (DGW28) ahead of the deadline at 11:00 GMT on Saturday 9 March.

Since making their picks, Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola revealed that a late decision will be made on Dominic Solanke's (£7.1m) involvement versus Sheffield United on Saturday, with the Cherries' forward still dealing with a knee issue, meaning he's been unable to take part in training this week.

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)

I think the captaincy debate is actually close between Carlton Morris (£5.1m) and Solanke, or even Bukayo Saka (£9.2m). I always favour a Double Gameweek player, especially when the fixtures look as good as they do for Bournemouth and Luton. Solanke will edge it, with the two home fixtures and the superior form over the season, although his ongoing injury and lack of training is a concern.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I always like to target a Double Gameweek player. While Solanke's form has dipped, with only one goal and two assists in his last five matches, he has an excellent pair of home fixtures. If you have Morris instead of Solanke, he is a viable alternative. With three double-digit returns in the last five Gameweeks, Ollie Watkins (£9.0m) should be considered too, especially as his opponents Spurs have not kept a clean sheet since Gameweek 17.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)

If Solanke is fit, he is the standout captaincy option with two prime home games and penalty duties in the locker.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)

Solanke is the standout, but I also like Morris, who has two away games but is now more of a focal point for Luton, with Elijah Adebayo (£4.9m) injured.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

I have the armband on Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto (£4.6m) at the moment. I will likely buy Solanke though, and if I do, I will probably captain him.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

Solanke will be getting the armband for me, and unless there are some injury concerns, I am planning on Triple-Captaining him.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

It's a simple one this week: Solanke with two home fixtures against two of the poorest defences in the league. If you want to be different, I would look at other Bournemouth players, with either Marcus Tavernier (£5.4m) or Justin Kluivert (£4.6m).

Pras (@Pras_FPL)

Solanke, if fit, is the easy choice.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Solanke gets my armband. Those who still have their Triple Captain chip should consider using it on him this week.

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral)

Solanke is the standout, although I have slight concerns over his fitness. Morris is a viable alternative.
