The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts pick out the top players to target as managers plan ahead for Double Gameweek 25 (DGW25) ahead of the Gameweek 24 deadline at 11:00 GMT on Saturday 10 February.

What the experts say
Andy Park (@FPL_Sonaldo)

The Double Gameweek players have to be prioritised in Gameweek 25, with the caveat being Manchester City have a fixture in Gameweek 26, while Liverpool blank. Erling Haaland (£14.2m) and Phil Foden (£7.9m) are locked for me, while Kevin De Bruyne (£10.8m) is certainly one to consider too. From Liverpool, my locks would be Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5m), Diogo Jota (£8.1m) and Darwin Nunez (£7.4m). Lastly, the only one to consider from Brentford would be Ivan Toney (£8.1m).

Liverpool and Man City have to be top of our shopping lists. Haaland and De Bruyne in particular are good Triple Captain options if you still hold that chip, so target both of them.

Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12)

With Haaland playing close to 90 minutes against Brentford in his last outing, it is difficult to ignore him for the Double Gameweek. Man City don't blank in Gameweek 26, so doubling on them with a triple attack including Haaland, Foden and De Bruyne is something I'd recommend. For Liverpool, I like Jota, who is on a hot run of form, as well as Nunez, who has been posting incredible underlying numbers.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)

De Bruyne, Haaland and Foden are the clear top three from City but for Liverpool it's trickier, with Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah's (£13.0m) fitness unclear. Jota and Nunez are the ones that appeal at the moment.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

Deciding how much you want to invest in Liverpool and Luton Town assets knowing they blank the following week is really important here, and your chip strategy has to play a part of your thinking. I'm not planning on using my Free Hit chip in Blank Gameweek 26, and for that reason I will likely only own double Liverpool, although I expect many will target the triple-up.

Pras (@Pras_FPL)

My top targets are Haaland, JotaNunez and Foden. The rest are nice to have but not must-haves. These include Alexander-Arnold, De Bruyne, Kyle Walker (£5.5m) and Alfie Doughty (£4.6m).

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)

Watching City without De Bruyne in my team has been a stressful experience. He is a top priority, as well as adding a Liverpool attacker in either Jota or Nunez.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Tripling up on Man City does make sense, but I think the third City player outside of Haaland and De Bruyne is contentious. To save budget for Liverpool assets I might go for Rodri (£5.6m), who is almost guaranteed to start both matches in the Double Gameweek. I want to have at least two Liverpool assets. Jota looks set to come in, but I will wait for more news on Salah before choosing my second. I also like Doughty and Toney if you want Double Gameweek players from Luton and Brentford too.
